5 Life or Death Factors That Make Or Break Every Website Or Sales Letter

Every week I get somewhere between a half and a dozen people asking me what separates great, money-making sales letters and websites (which are really just electronic sales letters) from the ones that don’t make the bucks.

Usually it’s because the piece sucks.

What? Did you expect some arcane formula? Well, there are those. But usually it’s just bad, frickin’ writin’. The content is uncompelling, the headline is M.I.A., as are the bullets and testimonials.

And if there is a guarantee, it’s sure to be one of those confidence-inspiring (i.e., they inspire no confidence) 30 day ones, the bonuses are the recycled dumpings from a hundred other places on the web and . . . well I could just go on, couldn’t I?

But . . . people being people, you probably want more detail, right?

Ok, so here it is: in tomorrow’s post I’ll give you the makers and breakers in 5 Easy Pieces.

Sorry, Jack. Here’s your chicken salad sandwich on wheat toast. No mayonnaise. No butter. No lettuce. And no chicken.

Don’t get it? Go here and all will be revealed.
