Getting Some Love From The Mindmappers

Recently my 28+ day blog for a client “Taming Project Chaos - 28+ Days With ResultsManager”  got the attention of the top dog in mindmapping software — Mindjet, makers of MindManager.

For more than 28 days, I publicly chronicle my ups, downs and some really stupid assertions on using a project management tool by Gyronix called ResultsManager.

Here’s what Mindjet’s Hobie Swann, one of the top voices in the visual knowledge management industry had to say about my daring 28 day experiment:

“Terry offers a very pragmatic and, occasionally quite frank assessment of project to run ResultsManager through its paces. The blog enables readers to  . . .”

Read this for more of what Hobie had to say.

If you want to see how I use MindManager and ResultsManager to run 3 companies, there’s a good deal of detail there, and I’m going to be posting even more detail on this blog.

Of course, we both know you don’t really care how I do it, but the value is seeing how I implement them and use that as a jumping off point for your own implemention.

Using blogging and SEO strategies, I took the blog from 0 (i.e., from scratch) to the #1 slot in MSN Search (relegating even the client’s own site ranking to the #2 and #3 slots!) and the #6 slot in Google (as of this writing). And I accomplished this in an unheard-of 14 days!

    #1 in MSN Search

msn_results_rm_5.02.06_top_2.jpgI’ve heard some chatter about how that’s impossible, so click on the image to see the proof for yourself. Of course, naysayers will say that I Photoshoped it. For the oddest reason, these are the same people who won’t fire up the MSN Search and Google to verify it for themselves.

For some, the earth must remain flat.

    And so it goes.
