    Feelin’ The Client Love

I’m extraordinarily-blessed with the best clients in the world, and no I’m not saying it because they read this blog and let me make a lot of money for them. I say that because by and large they’re fun to work with, we make some bucks together and they say really nice things about the work I do for them.

What you’re about to read should really go on my testimonials page, I understand that.

But there was something different about this one and in many ways it has become my favorite. Sure it’s got the numbers that makes the left-brainers happy, but it has something extra that many testimonials lack: it has heart.

I think that’s what makes it my favorite. Even more endearing, I know something none of you do about the guy — he’s no treehugging touchy-feely granola muncher. Though friendly (and he does the most phenomenal customer service — ever), he can be as gruff and no-nonsense as they come. In fact, I’ve accused him of having his wife write it. But I don’t press the issue because well, he’s got a gun and he knows how to use it.

But enough about me . . . here’s Rob talking about me.  ;-)

“Walter Terry’s marketing savvy and coaching have increased my company’s revenue by 71%. We met by chance at a business seminar several months ago and I was immediately impressed by his self-expression, confidence, and credentials.

We spoke about the impact that imaginative and proven marketing know-how has on a business. It literally opened up possibilities for me as quickly as Jiffy-Pop on a hot stove. I immediately wanted his coaching for my business and I turned the conversation in that direction.

I’ve been in sales and marketing for over 36 years and I knew very quickly that Walter was a master.  I saw that if only 10% of his ideas bore fruit I’d transform my business - and he was not trying to sell me anything.

He didn’t need the business, was booked months in advance and he took me as a client only because we formed a friendship during the week. I made him do it. He just opened up a possibility so huge I just had to step into it and I’m glad I did.

Results? You bet. I’ve nearly doubled my custom holster business already and I’ll do it again in the next quarter. Not only that, but sometimes I think Walter’s more committed to my success than I am, if that’s possible. I always know he’s in my corner and I trust him completely. I almost feel like starting another business soon just to see how fast Walter could help me grow it.”

Thanks for the good words, Rob. I’ll have to sleep in the office tonight because my head won’t fit through the door.
