8 Free Things Every Site Should Be Doing

Just for the record, I don’t much like Seth Godin. Too pop, I think. In particular, the misinformation wave he started by titling a book “All Marketers Are Liars.” That’s not what he actually meant, but we’re a culture of headline-skimmers and that’s the context most people read into it, without the benefit of having read it.

But he has this really helpful post and since it’s free, couldn’t hurt, right? My jury is still out on the Squidoo item simply because he has a financial stake in it. So . . . grain of salt alert, folks.

    Godin says:

Are there only eight? of course not.

But I thought I’d pick eight to start with: The 8 Free Things Every Site Should Do.

Print out the lens and bring it to your next IT/Marketing meeting. If you’re not doing all of them, I’m not sure you’re serious.

What do you think about his suggestions?
