    Marketing The “New Copywriting” Conspiracy

Is blogging the new copywriting? Are timid copywriters to blame for bland corporate websites? Is I.T. No conspiracy, just great copy!complicit? Did you catch author Kevin Hillstrom’s remarks about my “Blogging Is The New Copywriting” post? He talks about he challenges of writing catalog copy and how blogs are ideal for copywriters to “show off” their skills.

Honestly, the thought never entered my head <wry grin>. I’ll have to pen that into my schedule, “Must start a blog soon.”

He also comments on what’s wrong with most corporate websites and speculates on how IT (a company’s Information Technology department) could be involved.

Read his incisive comments here and be sure and get Kevin’s book here:

Text to the “conspiracy” poster reads: “It is always better to lie than admit the truth, for it is our ability to deceive that separates us from the animals”
