Walter’s Quantum Physics: It’s All About Me, Me, Me, Isn’t It?*

Ahhh . . . the ideal science — mine. After all, what good is it if it doesn’t have immediate, practical applications to me? Out of this world results w/ROI CopywritingAnd you should often filter the information through that lens (with you being the focus of the ‘me’ part, not me, me).

Otherwise it’s just a philosophy until you directly experience it. At that point it becomes real (for you) doesn’t it?

Ok, all tongue-in-cheek humor aside . . . from USATODAY’s Science and Technology section, science moves another step closer to accepting the role of consciousness in determining physical reality:

Maybe the world is the product of one aspect of biology, the mind, and not the other way around, he argues. “As we have seen, the world appears to be designed for life not just at the microscopic scale of the atom, but at the level of the universe itself,” Lanza writes. What if, Lanza asks, this means that instead of infinitesimally tiny particles creating space and time (and making life possible), the brain can really create physical reality.”

    * = About Heisenberg Fridays. Each Friday I’ll post about whatever I want outside of the realms of marketing, sales, advertising or copywriting. More often than not, it will be about one of my favorite studies –  the research into quantum mechanics and how consciousness influences reality.

So for most of the week you’ll be certain of the overall theme of my posts, but each Friday there will be that uncertainty about the topic. Thus my tip of the hat to Werner Heisenberg the creator of quantum mechanics’ Uncertainty Principle.
