Hotel Short-Sheeting — The Marketing Solution

Hotel owners and managers, how about a fairer version of “Let’s Make a Deal” for your patrons? I’ll be your ROI Copywriting is always a great deal!Monty Hall. So let’s get down to it, shall we?

    The Solution (w/o eco-bullying)

If hotels and other companies in the process of “greening” want to truly ”contribute” to saving the environment then do this, give your customers an incentive to help you in your pet project.

Take 10% off our bill if we allow your short-sheeting process, another 10% if we are frugal with the towels and save your employees from having to do their jobs in that department as well.

    Then maybe we’ll consider it.

    That was your Door #1.

In the Comments section, Rob Longenecker makes a good point about the new business these hotels need to be in.

    That was your Door #2.

If you’re late to the party and haven’t figured out how you’re being passive-aggressively bullied into making hotels more money, see these 2 posts:

And feel free to join me in the Greening Disobedience Movement.

I think we need our own T-shirt . . . and maybe a spiffy pen. Slogan, too. Membership card probably wouldn’t hurt, either.
