Let’s Make A Deal! Selling Global Warming’s Trillion Dollar Giveaway

Where’s Monty Hall when you need him? The Law of Unintended Consequences swings into full ROI Copywriting sends Learjet Liberals packing!effect as the global-warming-humans-are-to-blame-AND-if- you-give-us-enough-money-we-can-fix-a-12,600-year-NATURAL-cycle-of-warming-and-cooling crowd.

The conceit of humans. Or is the manipulation of the Al Gores . . . the Learjet Liberals (seen landing to the right) . . . and the Eco Bullies on the hearts and minds of a gullible and uninformed public?

Talk about a well-oiled marketing and PR campaign . . . were it not for blogs such as this and JunkScience.com, you wouldn’t even know about this – yet another expose of the global warming boondoggle.

Here is a snip from the article that caught my eye, though by the time I read the entire investigation . . . my jaw was on the floor.

If you’re a thinking person , I suspect yours will be as well.

“The lack of a mandate to reduce GHGs emissions means that they could actually increase under the LCEA, as long as emitters are willing to pay to do so.”

So let me make sure I understand this . . .

If the company is willing to pay the fines/fees for excessive emissions, they will still get to do those activities that (allegedly) contribute to the global warming issue they’re trying to prevent?!

In what way does this offset stave off the global warming? Seems more like a multi-billion dollar hall pass to me.

As always, want to know why such ridiculousness gets perpetuated?

Follow the basic rule of detective work: Who benefits? Where does the money go? Who has motive?

For the record (and I hate to have to say this each time, but you should see the email and comments I delete), I think that the global environment is on a rising, warming trend.

What I take issue with is those who pander the propaganda that humans are to blame and worse, can do something to prevent it.

Maybe we can. Maybe we can’t. We lack enough believable, credible data at this point in time.

Let’s see the raw data prior to being spun by scientists-for-hire who just want to make sure they get funded next year. We need to separate them out and ID them before we swallow their conclusions.

If we know who funded their research then we have we have a smart way to accept or reject their research.

What I further take issue with is those who profit from you believing their unfounded (at least so far) and unscientific conclusions based on data with funding sources that need to be carefully scrutinized.

“The evil that men do, lives long after you . . .”
