. . . before he chokes on his own hypocrisy. Again. Quit looking at me that way. I really do want to help save his tattering reputation. I do.
**Open Letter To The Global-Warming-Humans-Are-To-Blame Crowd**
So, if you’ve got proof that global warming is caused by humans, then the folks at Ultimate Global Warming Challenge have a “cool” $100,000 with your name on it.
All you’ve got to do is prove it in a scientific manner and according to contest rules. Easy enough to do, right?
After all, you’ve (allegedly) got all those scientists willing to put their professional reps on the line that manmade emissions of greenhouse gases are causing the catastrophic climate change and it’s not part of a 12,500 year cycle.
So prove away, buckos! I actually want to see you win this debate and legitimately be able to proclaim “The debate is over.”
If one side or the other wins, we can get about making the necessary lifestyle changes . . . or, Gore and crew will have to find a new way to make a living. Perhaps by doing actual work. Perhaps not.
And the YouTube video (see the end of this post) . . . it’s snort-milk-through-your-nose and pee-your-pants funny. As an added bonus, in the two and half minute video you’re reminded what I’ve been telling you on this blog for months — that any leader who is not doing what he finger-wags everyone else to do — is not fit to listen to and is rightly a subject of derision and ridicule.
And can you say “derision and ridicule” anymore and not think of Al Gore and his cadre of Learjet Liberals flying all around the world in private jets that create a bigger carbon footprint in 1 hour than an SUV does in an entire year? And that’s not including the greenhouse emissions of their limo stretches and SUV’s as they caravan from private jet to event and back to the private jet.
What about those?
Can’t buy offset absolutions for that kind of hypocrisy.
Hey Al (and followers), make ya a deal. You change the way you live first and then we’ll concede you can lecture us on how to live and cut back by “leaving a smaller footprint.”
‘Til then, the only footprint you’ll feel is my carbon-based foot on your ass.
Folks, this contest is inspired marketing genius on many levels. How many did you count?

It’s a funny animation, very well produced. But it looks to me like a well-funded PR stunt. I wonder who funded the project for Mr. Milloy.

Walter Comments:
Thanks for your comment, Michael. And it would have a bit more heft to it if you were also questioning Gore and entourage’s claims.
And **of course** it’s a PR stunt. Consider it a counter-PR stunt. But again, to be balanced, you would need to mention that other big PR stunt called “An Inconvenient Truth” designed to fund Gore’s company which conveniently sells carbon offsets. Your omission in this regard is also . . . curious. No question about which side of the “debate” you land upon.
