More Marketing Of Intolerance - The Hypocrisy

Continuing on from yesterday’s post . . . (actually 2 days ago, this post was bumped because of yesterday’s breaking news.)

Here’s what I want to know – whatever happened to civil debate?

While both sides of the political ideologically-driven camps stoop to it, there’s one side of the political spectrum that is know for attempting to squelch debate by shouting down those they disagree with and using physical assault to silence opposing opinions.

Astoundingly, they are unwilling to even hear anything that runs counter to their ideology and they seem incapable of a levelheaded reply without a knee-jerk, third grade reaction.

Funnily enough — they wish to be known as the ideology that promotes “diversity” and preaches “tolerance.” Apparently diversity of opinion and tolerance of other points of view only apply to those they agree with.

Yep, I’m taking about the far left . . . liberals . . . progressives (an oxymoron) — basically the Democratic Party that MoveOn.org claims they own and run (hey, their words, not mine).

Whatever you want call them . . . whatever they aspire to be — they form the power core of the Democratic Party.

I heard one liberal radio guest say that “right-wing Christians” are intolerant and closed-minded. Maybe so. But I don’t see them resorting to grade school antics to silence the dissenting party.

    Some other things I don’t see ‘right-wingers’ do . . .

I don’t see them hurling pies at speakers with whom they disagree.

I don’t see them clad in iridescent pink and screeching through a public testimony.

I don’t see them slandering a man before they’ve hear him out.

And what was up with Code Pink’s protests during Petraus’s testimony?

What are they so afraid of that they would protest before hearing the man out? I can understand hearing the man out and then protesting what you heard. But to do so before you heard the opposition and understand it’s context? That’s just ignorant.

When the Minutemen spoke at Columbia University, who disrupted the talk with violence? A liberal left group.

And oh yeah, what was the common thread of those throwing pies and other assorted objects? Yep, more far left protest groups.

Btw, did you note that these suppressions of “free speech” occur most often on the last bastions of free speech — college campuses?

    Why is that?

Can anyone name one right-wing, conservative group that does the same?

    Yeah . . . I couldn’t either.

More Antics From The Party of “Tolerance” & “Diversity”

Today’s liberals seem to be very tolerant of anyone’s opinion - just as long as you agree with them. Ironically, while patting themselves on the back for accommodating diversity (their diversity, not yours), they are the most intolerant people on earth if you do not agree.

They march against, swear at, burn, throw pies and other objects, block traffic and shout down and call names at all who dare disagree.

Well you know my basic rule, when anyone says one thing but does another, then it’s their Actions that are the truth.

So given that, you can decide for yourselves which group is the most tolerant of the other.

    Seems pretty clear to me.
