Marketing Accountability - 2008’s Lucy Will Have Some ‘Splaining To Do

Or as one clever commenter wrote, “Reid ‘Em And Weep” named for Nevada Democrat Harry Reid, the Senatelucilleball Majority Speaker. You know, that anemic ghost of a man announcing defeat and chasing Limbaugh on our dime, when he should be worried how he’s going to spin the Dems’ utter failure with their “100 Day Plan.”

Remember that? In 2006 they came charging out of the gates with sounds of resolve and furious change and now . . . what?

One of my blogging compadres over at Sound Politics made some insightful remarks about problems the Democratic Congress will face in the 2008 election.

You know the drill, my favorite clip from Don Ward’s post is below, click the link to get the full Magilla . . .

“Of course in 2008 the Democrat majority will have to defend its actions to the electorate. Instead of doing the “people’s business” the Historic Blue Wave Congress needs to explain why it wasted two years sniping at political enemies and pursuing personal vendettas.

That’s the price that must be paid to get even with a private - and very successful and very rich - talk show host who has the temerity to exercise one of those Amendment thingies.”
