MoveOn.org Continues Marketing Mishaps - Cracks Down On Critics

Those whacky (alleged) champions of free speech, MoveOn.org brought the hammer down on a hapless American small moveonprotestbusinessman (a Democrat), pitting their millions (actually George Soros’ millions) against an out-funded small business.

But while he was certainly out-funded, he was not out-smarted.

So he didn’t get mad, he got even. Here’s how . . .

When a “lifelong Democrat” and war veteran got fed up with MoveOn’s attack during the Petraeus flap, the independent T-shirt seller did something totally American — he took action.

He opened an online store at CafePress with products that lampooned MoveOn.org and exercised his right to dissent and in my book, got points for being funny and clever in the process.*

Here’s the clip from Malkin’s article, click the link for the full impact . . .

“Acceptable speech to MoveOn.org: Likening President Bush to Adolf Hitler, as they did in 2004.

Unacceptable speech: Little old mugs and hoodie sweatshirts gently satirizing the thin-skinned, left-wing mafia.”

    MoveOn Cracks Down On Critics

Her closing remarks were equally chilling: “Dissent-silencing tactics approved, apparently, by the MoveOn.org Democrats who are too busy bashing Rush Limbaugh to notice the gagging of ordinary citizens on their own side of the political aisle.

    Welcome to George Soros’ America.”

    * detail of the image: “This T-shirt was banned by the Lefty Group who ran the ad, then cut free speech from shop owners selling $15 buck T-shirts to criticize them. Hence, the name has moved on to “The group that shall not be named.”

Sal-ute!, sir and thank you for your service.
